Syncera Mobile · Fair use

Fair use, in plain English.

Fair use applies to three things: unlimited UK calls and texts, unlimited data, and using your allowance while roaming in the EU. This page gives the limits, what we promise before any limit bites, and how the service may be used.

Version 1 · September 2026. This policy forms part of your contract — see our terms of service, clause 4.

1. What fair use covers.

Your monthly plans have no minimum term, and fair use never turns into an exit fee: if it is not working for you, you can leave on one month’s notice with nothing to pay beyond the notice period.

2. The figures.

These figures form part of your contract. Ask us and we will send them to you in writing.

3. What we promise.

4. Outside your plan, and outside the EU.

Nothing outside your plan is charged. Calls to premium-rate and non-geographic numbers (numbers starting 09, 118 and 087) are barred, and so is use outside the EU. See our prices page.

5. Using the service properly.

Do not use the service to break the law, to harass anyone, to send bulk unsolicited messages, to generate artificial traffic, or in any way that damages the network or interferes with anyone else’s service. Do not resell it. Do not use it in a device that generates automated calls or texts at scale.

You are responsible for what happens on your account, including if you let someone else use your phone. Tell us as soon as you can if your SIM or phone is lost or stolen and we will bar it.

6. If fair use is exceeded.

Before we do anything we warn you first and give you a reasonable chance to put it right, except where there is fraud. Anything we do will be proportionate and will not single you out unfairly, and where we can we limit it to the part of the service concerned rather than everything. Calls to 999 and 112 keep working whatever else is suspended. The full wording is in our terms of service, clause 10.
